Mixed singing choir  invited a choir from Praque "Salvátorský pěvecký sbor" to perform together a concert    in the church of St. Margira in Bratislava, Lamač in November 24, 2018 at 6.30 p.m.

was celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Czechoslovak Republic  with the concert perfomed in   the Municipal theater in Žďár nad Sázavou in Czech Republic.

took part on choir festival in Brno in Czech Republic in November 20, 2018.

The mixed singing choir from Ružinov invited all lovers of the classical music to the  concert entitled "When shining ..." to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the birth of the Slovak musical giant Professor Eugen Suchoň (1908 - 1993). This unique concert took place  on  September 22, 2018 at 7 pm in Zrkadlova sieň of the Primaciálny palác.

sang Slovak and European carols  in the Church of the Most Holy Heart of Jesust in Bratislava on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 6:30 pm.

performed a pre-Christmas concert of Slovak and European carols in the German Evangelical Church  in Modra in December 17, 2017 at 5 pm.

and the Lamač-Dúbravský  singing choir performed togehter a concert in  the Church of Saint Margaret in Lamač in Bratislava in November 26, 2017 at 4 pm. Both choirs conducted by  Peter Fajkus and Juraj Jartim performed   the most beautiful and cappella songs from their  repertoire.

invited two other friendly choirs to perform together for the fourth time  a concert on the occasion of the anniversary of the arrival of  Cyril and Method to Great Moravia. Listeners could listen to  the  sacred works  conducted by  Veronika Dobrovolná, Jozef Chabroň and Juraj Jartim. The event took place under the auspices of the mayor of the City of Ružinov Ing. Dušan Pekár. The project was financially supported by  Bratislava Self-Governing region, the choir  Žďár nad Sázavou, the House of culture RUŽINOV and OZ ProCantus.

During this unique joint concert of the singing choir - LUMIR BRNO /www.lumir1864.cz/ celebrating its 150th  anniversary and Cantus BRATISLAVA celebrating its 30th anniversary   listeners could have the opportunity to hear the  tracks of following composers: Smetana, Janacek, Martinu, Jartima, Smid, Dvorak, hronek, Adam Václav Michna and Suchoňa. The concert was conducted by Josef Maple and Juraj Jartim  and completed by  the poems performed by Ulrich Ulmann. The entry  is free.


performed its concert tour to the Czech Republic by the occasion of the Day of Czech Statehood. Gala preview of the St. Wenceslas´concert was performed  in the church of St. Wenceslas in Praque-Vršovive  on  Thursday, Sept. 25th 2014 at 7 p.m.

 

Prime St. Wenceslas´concert will be performed on Saturday, September 27 th at 6 p.m. in the  St. Vitus Cathedral, Prague Castle. In the cooperation with   the Slovak Philharmonic  Orchestra of Bohdan Warchal led by Ewald Danel Cantus celebrated  its 30th anniversary with a special concert . On January 12, 2014 the enthusiastic audience had the opportunity to hear  the Coronation Mass in C-DUR KV 317 from A. Mozart.   This special concert was a magnific artristic experience not only for Cantus´listeners but also for all singers of Cantus, members of the Slovak  Philharmonic Orchestra as well as for  the pastor Augustin Slaninka  who is always excited when the church is filled with the fear of God.

According to the  members of the  friendly choir Gock  Cantus  melted   the so-called "cold Danish hearts" by its music and songs not only in beautiful churches but also on the street market and in the museum od H.Ch.  sang  at the ancient castle Devin  by the occasion of the 1150th anniversary of  St. Cyril and Methodius´s arrival  on the territory of recent Slovakia.

sang by the occasion of the 1150. anniversary of St. Cyril and Methodius´arrival  on the territory of recent Slovakia.  Traditionally the concert  presented not only older sacral compositions but also for the first time the song "Drahý poklad živej viery" /"Dear treasure of the living faith"/.  The text of this song  was written by  Anton Adamkovič and the music composed by Juraj Jartim.

took part in an interesting program of the Foundation for Cancer Research that was presented in the Trade Center Gallery (Tesco) on March, 4rd, 2011  from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.  During the evening the public could listen to the music of  Paul Hammel, Janko Kuric, Hansel Kryl, musical singer Juliana Jamrišková-Knopp, choir Cantus as well as  Maros Bango and his wife Sasha or could also see  the show of the magician Peter Sestak. 


celebrated the end of the old year 2010 and the arrival of the new year 2011 by the New Year´s concert in the church of St. Vicent de Paul in Ružinov. Public could listen to following compositions: Trnavský - Jubilate Deo, Tovačovský - Otčenáš, Lukáš - Pater Noster, Prášil - Koledy, Schifauer - Vianočná omša.


said good-bye to the year 2009 under the Christmas tree in Ružinov singing the following songs: Dusík - Rád mám ťa zem, Bella - Missa in D, Andrašovan - Ej volám, Kapasný - Halali, Zemanovský - Trávnice, Bystrý - Trávička zelená, Jartim - Červené jabĺčko, Znám ja jednu zahradečku, Šalata.  Of course angels, cabbage, sweets, Moravien vine and other pleasures were not missing.

took part on the presentation of a new book of John Palka „Moje Slovensko, moja rodina“ /"My Slovakia, my family"/. which took place   in Palfy palace in Bratislava in December 12, 2010. Presentation of John Palka´s book- John Palka is the grand son of Milan Hodza who was the Prime Ministers of the 1st Czechoslovak republic. John Palka´s book describing memories on Palka´s family was accepted for publishing in Kalligram in 2010. Video record STV excellently intercepted this presentation and the nice atmosphere in Palfy palace. Choir Cantus opened and finished the presentation by its nice songs. sang  together with the twin chorus UNIČOV during the st. mass on Saturday in May 8, 2010 . Excellent acoustic in the church of St. Vincent de Paul, brillant performance, sacral music, nice speech of the pastor Augustin Slaninka and almost full church made a special impression  not only upon members of the audience but also upon singers.

participated in the international choir festival in Uničov. Cantus attracted the audience not only by its mastery repertoire, highly treasured knowledge of Moravian folklore but also by a spontaneous atmosphere induced by its members during a concert , after it and also on the way home.
